About MCC Ontario

Mennonite Central Committee, a worldwide ministry of Anabaptist churches, shares God’s love and compassion for all in the name of Christ by responding to basic human needs and working for peace and justice.

MCC envisions communities worldwide in right relationship with God, one another and creation.

In Ontario, MCC is headquartered in Kitchener with regional offices in 5 other centres, and governed by a Board of Directors rooted in 7 different Anabaptist church conferences. Our work in Ontario includes:

  • Aboriginal Neighbours
  • Creation Care
  • Interfaith Bridge Building
  • Low German Newcomers
  • Peace Education
  • People in Poverty
  • Refugee Sponsorship
  • Restorative Justice
  • Youth and Young Adults.

We engage hundreds of volunteers in our programs, as well as in raising funds and gathering relief supplies. Many vlunteers are found in 16 Thrift Shops, 5 Relief Sales and our Material Resource Centre.
