First Nation communities and Aboriginal organizations have requested MCC's help in providing H1N1 Response Kits. The goal is collect up to 2,000 kits that will be incorporated into community Healthy Baby Healthy Children Programs in the far North, helping those most vulnerable with preventative tools.
You can respond by collecting the contents listed below and bringing them to your nearest MCC Ontario office.
H1N1 Kit contents:
One hand sanitizer between 60-75 mls (must have 62-70% alcohol content to be effective)
One hand pump mild soap, between 225-250 mls
One new individual packet of tissue
One new hand towel
One new wash cloth
Please place the hand sanitizer and hand soap into a sealable plastic bag. Place all contents in a 11 x 16 inch drawstring bag or simply bring the contents to your nearest MCC Ontario office where bags are also available.
If you prefer, you may choose to donate $10 towards the cost of purchasing the contents of a kit.
