Standing with First Peoples - engaging ourselves, listening to the stories and taking time to understand the history and culture of Aboriginal people in Ontario When we choose to "stand with" we are making a statement. We are letting others know of the passion that moves us to align ourselves with a particular group of people who choose to speak out and 'act' for what they feel is right. This is one of the key ways MCCO works with Aboriginal partners, leading us to 'stand with' and calling out to others about the need to make change, and to transform injustice into justice.
